Jason Cannon is a teacher and writer whose articles have appeared in NINE: A Journal of Baseball History and Culture. Charlie Murphy: The Iconoclastic Showman behind the Chicago Cubs from the University Nebraska Press is his first book. He is currently working on a dual biography of Willie McCovey and Billy Williams, teenage friends from the Mobile, Alabama region who went on to become Hall of Fame superstars.
